They had me wear this paper gown, the epitomy of fashion, for the surgery. You know I was jumping up and down at the thought of wearing it. They had to try three times to get the iv in - 6 needle sticks- and finally the anesthesiologist got it. I even got to wear a beautiful blue cap, not pictured.

Too bad Shane couldn't do your I.V. for you. He has a nickname at work that is something like.."one stick in the vein Shane". Way to go on your surgery!

ugh liz, that IV sticking stuff does NOT sound fun...remind me when you get back to tell you camilla's fun experience with the needle when she "tried" to give blood! i love you!
